Canadian National Amie Krasnozon is the 6th professional triathlete representing The Sport Factory Elite Team in 2012.  She is working with coach Matt Russ.

Currently residing in North Carolina where she works as a nurse, Amie is dedicated to realizing her true potential in the sport of triathlon.  He rise in the sport as an amateur was fairly meteoric, progressing from holding up a few legs of a triathlon relay, to winning her very first full triathlon in White Lake NC, to finishing 4th overall at the 2010 Age Group National Championship in Tuscaloosa Alabama where she earned her pro card.

“Amie has tremendous raw materials and is a natural athlete” say coach Matt Russ.  “She has come up extremely quickly in the sport but lacks some of the basic fundamentals.  We are taking a long term focus and plotting her athletic career vs. focusing on the next race in front of us.  It is exciting to work with such an untapped potential.  She has a great attitude, and is eager and motivated to learn.”
