Tell us about your race (limit 500 words)…: My 1st tri in almost 2 years and after having major hip resurfacing surgery in May 2009. I had previously been competative in my AG for longer distance triathlons and I really missed what had become a very important part of my life. I was very pleased and grateful to be able to participate, compete and finish the race. Terrific venue in Blue Ridge!
