Team Sport Factory was rockin’ the course at the GA Rock ‘N Rollman in hot and humid Macon, GA.

In the Half Ironman, Amy Kloner took 2nd Overall in the Elite/Open division, just over 4min behind Ironman champion Nina Kraft.  Amy posted the day’s best bike split and a PR in the swim by nearly 3min. Amy is coached by Matt Russ.

Brett Luna stepped it up to the half distance for his first time, and finished 2nd place in his AG!

The Sprint race had some fast and furious athletes participating, thanks to the presence of the Southeast Region’s High Performance team. TSF had 4 men in the top 10, however, and Sam Morgan cleaned up with the overall win on the men’s side.  Sam is coached by Brett Daniels.

Seconds after crossing the line for the win, Sam grabbed his camera gear and began capturing the rest of the team in action!  He didn’t have much time, though, because the young guns were right behind him.  Matthew Schaefer, new to TSF Junior Elites, finished 4th OA and 1st in his AG.

“Team Marshall” continues to display their dominance as the fastest family in GA, with Junior Elite Alex Marshall coming through the line 5th overall and 1st in his AG.  Keith Marshall took top honors in the Masters division, as did Lisa Marshall on the women’s side.

Hannah Meadows, at age 15, continues to tear it up, finishing 3rd overall on the women’s side.  Hannah is coached by Holly Marzetti.

Coach Chris Zimmer finished 3rd Masters.

A big congratulations to Betsy Brucken for her 2nd OA finish in the Aquabike.  Betsy is coached by Matt Russ.

Well done to all who fought hard in Macon!

You look like you are reading a magazine as you win the race.
