Tell us about your race (limit 500 words)…: This was supposed to be a “B” race training day for IMCDA, but it is still a race, right? I mean there was a clock ticking away! The course was hilly and tough; the wind was wicked. I was too tentative on the bike with the wind and hills. I had an 808 on the front and was getting blown all over the road. Also, I had a nutrition mistake – only 2 bottles on the bike. It didn’t turn out like I had hoped, but it was great training for Idaho! I learned a couple of lessons as well.
