Tell us about your race (limit 500 words)…: This was the first olympic distance of the season for me, and the last race before Gulf Coast next month. The weather wasn’t ideal- temp was perfect, and the winds were very light. It began to rain a bit as I was coming out of the water. Racing in the rain is not my favorite thing to do as you have to be a little cautious on the bike. I ended up improving both my swim and bike over last year which is always a good thing, while my 10K time of 42:15 isn’t my best, I felt like I gave it my best for the day.
