Race Placement/Time/Qualification: 6th OA and 1st AG/ 42:17/ Peachtree Qualifier

Tell us about your race (limit 500 words)…: I finally got around to do my first 10k! (and I am looking forward to do many more) While the only other 10k I have done is the Peachtree (which I was 10 and 11) I would say this is my first official one. My main goal was to pace well and finish strong with the last 2 miles. I felt that I did that very well and was almost able to beat that 42 minutes (although the course was supposedly a little longer than 6.2). Either way I had a great race and got to see many of my friends including Katie June and Matt Schaefer.
