Tell us about your race (limit 500 words)…: Brian Madden, Sean Sanders & Chris Celka raced the Sandmann Adventure Race in Cartersville GA for their first race of 2010. It was a cold, windy, sleety day but we had raced in this area near Allatoona Dam several times so we had home court advantage. We took a few navigation chances that paid off, pushed hard the whole time and several of the really fast teams stayed home so we were able to pull off a win.

This is a small grassroots race that benefits the YMCA. Our prize was a kid’s scholarship to camp this summer in our name so that was pretty gratifying.

We did however get the “most unique” race shirts ever. Who doesn’t love blaze orange & flames?
