Taylor Gonsoulin
Age: 37
Personal: I was born in Gainesville, FL. I met my wife, Elby, while we attended Georgia Tech. In college I enjoyed playing intramural sports and I played on the school rugby team. Elby and I have run several marathons together. We have two daughters, Laura, 7, and Danielle, 6. Laura does TaeKwonDo and Danielle does dance/cheer. We have two dogs, a Vizsla and a Lab mix, who love to run (especially at Blankets Creek Trails about a ½ mile from our house). I work for Air Quality Sciences, Inc. in Marietta as manager of the building consulting group. I enjoy working on and racing my bicycles. My goals are to be a good husband and father as the Christian leader of our family; to help those I work with to achieve great success; and to be competitive at all my athletic endeavors. I began running in high school and I started multi-sport racing 4 years ago. In my first (and only) two triathlons I finished on the podiums, but I am slow in the water and have much more fun in duathlons and bike races.
