Donald Chapman
Age: 23
Personal: I am a full-time graduate student at UGA working on my Masters in Exercise Physiology. After UGA I am planning on attending medical school. I graduated cum laude from Georgia Southern University with a BS in Biology. I enjoy competing because it gives me an outlet to channel my energy.
Athletic Accomplishments: I have competed in several triathlons since getting into the sport in the summer of 2005. I have completed 7 Ironman triathlons in a three year period. I was the 2005 U19 USA national champion for ultra distance racing, and qualified to race in worlds in Australia. In addition I have placed in my age group in just about every race I have entered and placed first overall in “My next triathlon” in the summer of 2007. I have qualified for Boston and plan to race it in 2010.

2009 Goals: My main goals for this season are to stay healthy and injury free as well as placing in my age group for every race I enter. If all go’s as planed this could mean a ticket to Kona come August at IMLOU. I am also hoping for a top finish at Collegiate nationals in April.
