Race Placement/Time/Qualification: 2nd Male 14:17 net, 17:17 gross.

Tell us about your race (limit 500 words)…: I think my running preparation for this race was pretty good, but my eating pre-race planning was abysmal and needs work. I filled my stomach the night before with pizza and was still full on race morning. I only had the stomach for 3 doughnuts. Most of the ladies obliterated me with the number of doughnuts eaten. I think there’s something magical about the Elvis costumes as I think our overall winner ended up with a nine and change net 5K time.

Anyway, the gross is technically a PR for me. I was glad to see NAMC people out there having a good time for a good cause.
