Race Placement/Time/Qualification: 2nd AG/20th Overall/53:16

Tell us about your race (limit 500 words)…: For a “fun” race with little prep, did well. After an average swim was able to post 3rd fastest bike split in the race. Hung on for a decent 5K, but was beat out by the 1st place AG winner with about 250 meters to go! Guess that means a little more speed training is necessary. Last race for the year…did one at each distance (IM, HIM, Oly and Sprint)….next year will focus on HIM where I tend to lay out my best performances.
