Tell us about your race (limit 500 words)…: Loved this race! Short, fast, and furious!! ;)

600 yard swim, 18mile bike, and 5k run along the flat and well-paved roads of Santa Rosa Island, FL. I had a disappointing swim but a fast bike and run, and enough to win the overall female elite title. This was a VERY fun, low-pressure race before finishing the season with some bigger, longer races (ITU Worlds and 70.3 Worlds). A fun little sprint race was EXACTLY what I needed!   Thanks to Coach Matt for giving me the green light for a little “speedy fun,” and of course for the first-rate coaching.  I am so grateful to Sport Factory for all the testing, coaching, and team support.  It’s been a great year so far!

Great job Amy!!! Enjoy that Tiki trophy — you deserve it. Can’t wait to see what those two last races hold for you!
