Tell us about your race (limit 500 words)…: My best race of the season….finally! The early season was crap due to my injury but thanks to Dr. Nick at First Choice I’m running pain free and feeling great!
The swim was unreal, I now know what salmon feel like swimming upstream! It was to my advantage but it was a tough advantage none the less. I had to recover at first on the bike and then I found a groove. Happy with my bike, Kat “the bike machine” didn’t catch me till mile 22 vs. mile 7 this time! The run was really tough but I was being chased so I kept plugging away at it!
Very happy with my placement and qualifying for World’s in Budapest!
Had a great weekend with friends/teammates: Kris Kester, Kat Tindol, Michelle Shoup, Jon and Jo Adamson! Thanks for their support!
