Tell us about your race (limit 250 words)…: I have some mixed feelings about my race this weekend — I made a lot of improvements compared to last year but struggled on the run and lost by only 5 seconds! I’ll try to focus on the positives, like beating my swim time and bike time from last year and having my best bike average for the second straight race. And I will learn to stay aero on the bike when I take the lead, rather than turning around every 5 seconds to check out where everybody else is! My mother made me write that part.
