Tell us about your race (limit 250 words)…: Well the first thing that I have to say about this race was much better than my last tri I did 2 weeks ago. I pulled out a PR for my swim and despite more difficulties with my bike, I did end up having a faster pace than what I was expecting. The run was one of my other unexpected surprises. I didn’t pull out a PR, but I still had the fastest female run split of the day which was very exciting. I had fun running this race and I am very happy with my overall performance…Plus I told Holly, my coach, that I wouldn’t be too hard on myself :) Thanks Holly!

FANTASTIC, Hannah!! Fastest run of the day, huh? And you were just 1 spot away from placing overall on the podium— VERY IMPRESSIVE.

Keep working hard at it and most importantly, keep having fun. You’re improving with every race and hopefully learning a lot along the way. Congratulations.

I love reading your race reports Hannah! Great job on the run — I knew it was going to be a good one when I saw how fresh you looked coming up that last hill!

Way to go Hannah! The bike is new, the set-up is new, it will come, be patient! As long as it’s improving then it’s all good! Great race! We will get together to ride in the off season, I promise! If you learn something and have fun at each race then it was a great race! 4th overall is really fantastic, way to go!
