Race Placement/Time: 2nd Overall, 1:11
Tell us about your race (limit 250 words)…: Didn’t wear wetsuit as it felt too warm, only female in top 5 without one, should’ve worn it to be with overall leader in water and further ahead of others that I beat out of the water. Good bike, hilly run but bad hip/leg held for 5K, not fast but enough to get in for 2nd overall.
The coolest part about your race is the fact that you just “decided” that you didn’t want to wear a wetsuit, even though it was legal. You are a machine, woman!
Most people would only give up their wetsuit kicking and screaming.
