Tell us about your race (limit 250 words)…: New personal best under tough conditions! Virtually mistake free technically, highlights; first 1/2 with no solid nutrition, just gu and gatorade, seemed to work OK; day went from overcast to hot and windy (25 miles of headwinds); mile 32 of bike, big bug in the teeth, not very tasty!; near disaster at the dismount averted at last second; held 7:45 miles for the first 9 miles on the run; worked through numerous cramps to end up with around 8:00 avg pace on the run. Sore but satisfied overall!
