Race Placement/Time: 2nd OA Co-ed

Tell us about your race (limit 250 words)…: We talked Jen Henry into doing her first AR and she was a machine! It was not an easy race for a beginner- cold, raining, and 3+ hours of paddling, but Jen was one of the strongest team mates I have raced with. Despite the muddy trails she hung right on my wheel and showed off her skills. Chris’ navigation was spot on and he kept us on track through the whole event. In fact I don’t know how he can see some of the CP’s. We made the 5 hour cut off by 20 seconds and missed first place by 2 minutes. Very close race.

The winning team was fielded by Brian Madden, Ron Redding, and our own Vicki Cherry (herself a relative newbie). Brian and Vicki will be representing TSF on our masters AR team this season. GREAT JOB!
